Job description

The Test Specialist - Performance and Capacity Management has a primary focus in end-to-end Performance Engineering of the solution. You must be able to:


Conduct and analyze application profile benchmark
Troubleshoot application performance bottlenecks and problems
Create test cases and execute performance load testing
Produce required documentation regarding testing methodology and testing results
Record, analyze, and report on test results and issues. Review existing code and make valuable suggestions to enhance existing projects.
Interact with the product development team to understand product requirements. Review specifications and design documents to determine, prepare, estimate, and plan script specifications and requirements
Ensure proper version control and configuration management of all test objects developed and test environments used

Required skills include:

Create Test Plans for the Projects
Work as a Test Coordinator for all teams including gathering test estimates for the teams
Status updates and reporting to Project Managers for the Testing progress
Focal for all Testing requirements on the account
Very good skills in HP QC tool
Work experience should include 8-10 years working in a application development and systems integration environment with a deadline-driven atmosphere
Knowledge of Performance Engineering methodologies
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Knowledge of SDLC processes and methodologies
Understanding of performance challenges in distributed architecture, how performance testing should be done
Experience working with non-functional requirements to derive performance testing requirements and acceptance criteria
Experience in interpretation of performance testing results
Experience with load testing tools such as LoadRunner
Required
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 2 years experience in include 2 years working in a application development and systems integration environment
  • At least 2 years experience in Knowledge of Performance Engineering methodologies
  • English: Fluent
