The project manager is responsible for the overall on-time, on-budget delivery of a successful SAP implementation. This position requires strong SAP product knowledge/experience as well as strong managerial and communication skills.

Responsibilities include:
• Responsible for organizing and leading a cross functional team in developing and implementing project deliverables, with an emphasis on quality, productivity, and consistency
• Responsible for providing technical direction and control of project personnel and for providing a framework for project planning, communications, reporting, procedural and contractual activity
• Working with the client to identify business requirements and develop the proposal
• Contract management
• Developing work plans, managing deadlines and coordination of project team and sub-team activities
• Estimating project skill requirements, working with deployment to identify appropriate resources an managing their integration into the team
• Defining and agreeing on deliverables and milestones
• Setting and controlling scope
• Communicating status and vision to client management and stakeholders
• Overall team management, including regular evaluations
• Budget management
• Risk management



Skills/Experience Required:

• Working knowledge of current SAP Project Management methodologies.
• Experience with Enterprise Asset Management.
• Project leadership experience on SAP implementation with Financials, Plant Maintenance and/or Materials Management through the entire project lifecycle (Preparation, Design/Blueprint, Build/Realization, Final Prep/Testing/Cutover, Go-live and Support, Sustainment) ideally within the petroleum industry.
• Oil and Gas Industry experience.
• Demonstrated client management and relationship management skills
• Ability to work closely with Process Owners and other key stakeholders to communicate progress.
• Strong process and industry knowledge
• Deep understanding of SAP software and project implementation methodology
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Min of 8 years of experience required. Experience managing team of 20+ staff preferred.
• Project Management degree (PMI certification) highly desirable
