The Virtual University Platform Manager is responsible for leading the design, build, and deployment of the overall virtual university platform and its evolution into a digital campus.
  • Lead a team to drive an integrated & unified view of all components of the Crotonville Virtual University
  • Serve as the functional architect to envision the Crotonville Virtual University platform as a whole as well as its individual components to make them operate as an ecosystem
  • Establish partnerships with various IT teams, COEs, Security, Data Privacy Teams, and others as appropriate to bring GE’s infrastructure for virtual university to fruition
  • Translate the course/curricula needs into requirements and their integration into the broader virtual university platform
  • Manage a portfolio of projects, budgets, stakeholders, communications, IT processes, and other day-to-day activities to deliver on the assigned outcomes
  • Oversee vendor & contract management
  • Champion new technologies, incorporate lessons learned, and determine their readiness for integration and deployment into GE’s Crotonville Organization
  • Play a pivotal role in defining the New Product Introduction process with the business/region delivery and operations team
  • Consult & advise with the design technology team members in curriculum design and discern opportunities to integrate new and emerging trends into the overall Learning Architecture
  • Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferably in LD, IT or Instructional Technology)
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a related field such as IT, HR-IT or prior corporate university management experienceEligibility Requirements:
