You are a subject matter expert on sustainable energy and will use this knowledge to help solve the industry’s most important Energy challenges. You will leverage GE’s Global expertise, industrial breadth and technology to address Energy challenges across the Energy sector by creating executable solutions for stakeholders.
• Lead Voice of the Customer (VoC) initiatives to collect and analyze data and drive innovative thinking to translate into marketable solutions through collaboration with stakeholders.
• Implementation of software to mimic real production, operations or logistics processes in the hydrocarbon value chain. The desired output / use of this skill is to help customers understand visually complex process engineering (or logistics) systems, problems and / or solutions
• Experience using 3D modeling and prototyping as a rapidly iterative customer collaboration tool (what if analysis, justification/proof of concept selling, performance simulations of processes and assets before financial commitments)
• Past experience curating / leveraging digital project engineering information in aggregated/mobile/shareable formats through the different EPCM phases will be considered an asset. The desired output / use of this skill is to reduce work flow complexity, improve customer collaboration regardless of geographic limitations, reduce errors/mistakes/re-works and project lead times.
• Experience in Front end engineering design (FEED) will be considered an asset.
• Technically articulate innovations and present solutions to customers
• Serve as the key interface between the customer/market needs and the organization to proactively promote and position technology against competitive systems.
• Drive emerging market growth strategy
• BS in Chemical or Systems Engineering preferred. Sr. Design technologists will be considered.
• Minimum ten years of combined process engineering and commercial operations experience
• Minimum five years of experience within the Energy sector
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Proven expertise presenting to mid to executive level customers and groups
• Demonstrated ability to effectively drive strategic plans
• Ability to interact at all levels of the organization and with other GE businesses and customers
