The Delivery Technology Specialist is responsible for championing new learning technology solutions into the GE Crotonville Leadership Curricula & plays a pivotal role in deployment of the various components of the Crotonville Virtual University.
  • Own & champion a learning delivery technology channel (e.g. Mobile, Portal, Virtual Classroom etc.) for the Crotonville and GE Learning Organization
  • Lead vendor teams and specific projects to build out components of the virtual university learning platform
  • Harness & channel the power of broader GE-wide tools for global learning purposes
  • Serve as the project & product manager for assigned products across the learning delivery channels
  • Provide technology expertise for various classes that are conducted in the Ossining NY and other Crotonville facilities globally
  • Write job-guides, training materials, and conduct awareness sessions to equip the learning community & others to benefit from the new and emerging technologies
  • Engage in content creation
  • Partner with Business, HR Systems, IM, Learning Leaders, Ops, Facility Leaders, and others as appropriate to envision products, requirements, identify suitable technology interventions, and support the deployment process
  • Continuously research, identify, and integrate new and emerging technology solutions into the GE corporate infrastructure and environment; Make them easily accessible and usable
  • Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferably in LD, IT or Instructional Technology)
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experienceEligibility Requirements:

  • ITLP Graduate
  • Extensive knowledge of eLearning, mLearning, & social learning processes, tools, platforms and standards such as AICC/SCORM
  • Hands on experience with various learning technology tools
  • Information Technology and Learning Acumen
  • Demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills
