Your opportunity:
Our Cloverdale Branch is looking for a Part-Time Financial Services Representative to join their dynamic team! The Financial Services Representative is responsible for providing exceptional service to walk-in customers or telephone inquiries. He or she handles the customer’s initial requests for service, working to provide financial solutions that best meets their needs and to resolve any concerns or complaints. Responsibilities also include providing a superior level of customer service to both internal and external clients, upholding service quality standards while seeking opportunities to build relationships with customers through selling products and services. The Financial Services Representative makes referrals to other departments as needed.
You would have a variety of tasks including:
· Handling financial transactions including, but not limited to, opening of new personal or business accounts, setting up new term deposits, retirement savings plans, RESP’s, Travelers Cheques
· Performing initial loan interview with customers, requesting documentation, and reviewing loan applications
· Handling estates documentation and requirements for disbursement of funds
· Achieving individual sales targets
· Referring members to appropriate experts
We are looking for an individual to join our Cloverdale Branch on a part-time basis. This position will be guaranteed 60 hours per month and you must be available to work on Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays. This is subject to change based on the requirements of the branch and the organization.
Your skills and experience:
· Minimum 1 year experience within a financial services environment, exposure to retail lending or deposits is an asset
· Proven sales and service ability
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· A passion for excellence in all you do, whether building a relationship with a member, completing a financial transaction or working as part of a team
· You highly value honesty, fairness and integrity in all of your business and personal dealings
· Working knowledge of MS Office
You must be available to work Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays.
