Infrastructure Support Analyst

Position Overview
Reporting to the Manager of Technical Services, the Infrastructure Support Analyst will maintain andsupport corporate information technology services and infrastructure including: Employee Workstations,Servers, Networks, Printers, Firewalls, Phone Systems, Internet Connections, VPN, etc.
Responsibilities and Deliverables
  • Maintain and support Intelex's technical infrastructure which includes, but not limited to: EmployeeWorkstations, Servers, Networks, Printers, Firewalls, Phone Systems, Internet Connections, VPN, etc.
  • Maintain and support Mail Systems, Databases, Web Systems, Security Systems and Test Servers.
  • Hardware and software deployment of new machines.
  • Maintenance of data backups and Disaster Recovery Plans.
  • Maintain and monitor the security systems.
  • Automate tasks and roll out software/firmware versions and updates.
  • Monitor infrastructure.
  • Assist in purchasing new hardware and software.
  • Maintain inventory.
  • Maintain software compliance.
  • Establish and maintain vendor relationships.
  • All other duties as assigned by the Department Manager.
Organizational Alignment
  • Reports to the Manager of Technical Services.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with cross functional teams within the organization.
Qualifications
  • Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, InformationTechnology or equivalent technical related program.
  • Experience and strong knowledge of Windows Server and Desktop software.
  • Experience with virtualization and private/public cloud systems.
  • Experience and strong knowledge of email systems.
  • Experience with vendor management.
  • Knowledge of IT security and hardening systems.
  • Experience with common Network topologies and protocols.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SCCM or other Client System Deployment strategies.
  • Experience with Backups and Disaster Recovery Planning.
  • Working experience with Microsoft SQL Server and IIS is preferred.
  • Expert-level skills in Microsoft Office.
  • Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal.
  • Excellent research skills.
  • Excellent time-management and project management skills.
  • Excellent problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work with various departments and foster teamwork.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
