We are currently recruiting for
a Facilities
Engineer
for a six month consulting position
in
our
Operations
/Facilities
department.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Support Operations with all regulatory reporting requirements
Support day to day operations
, risk identification and improvement plans
o
Provide guidance and leadership to facility staff
o
Travel to field projects as required
Ensure all engineering and operations activities are in compliance with the appropriate
government and regulatory bodies
Support VP of Operations; develop and implement operations and maintenance plans and
procedures
Coordinate 3rd party engineering or operations contractors and suppliers; liaise between project
engineering and operations
Send out initial/final DBM and proje
ct scopes
Support production engineers and operations with regards to facility and pipeline operations
questions
Prepare tie
-
in and facility drawings
Design and follow through with facility installations
Coordinate projects with drafting and engineering co
mpanies
Review and approve invoices on Power Vision
Track costs on Siteview
Attend and participate in all relevant Company meetings; provide updates as required
Qualifications:
B.Sc. Engineering
Minimum 5 years
of
experience in the oil and gas industry
F
ull knowledge of gas processing and compressor sizing
F
amiliarity with detection and Z662 and B31.3 standards
F
ull knowledge of MWB, pipeline and compressor station permits
Preference will be given to those with field and/or operations experience
The abil
ity to work
both
independently
and as a team member
in a fast paced environment
Strong organizational skills
and attention to detail
