This position will ensure that Affinity Credit Union's information security risk is minimized, with a view to protecting our brand reputation, and maintaining the trust and confidence of staff, members, and regulators.
This position is expected to operate within a regional service delivery model which may require travel between locations.
Required Qualifications:
University degree, or post-secondary diploma, from an accredited educational institution in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
A minimum of five years' hands-on experience in the implementation of computing, networking, and communications technologies in an enterprise context, with a particular emphasis on information security. An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.
Relevant vendor certifications or professional designations would be considered an asset. The CISSP or CISM designations would be particularly desirable. Qualified candidates who commit to getting a suitable information security designation in a reasonable amount of time may also be considered.
