A day in the life…
As the Logistics department manager, you’ll wear many hats — you’ll
be a mentor, your team’s biggest fan, as well as the go-to person for
the inner workings of the store. In this role, you’ll set the example
by…
- Being all about your team — from recruiting, hiring and training to developing and motivating them. You’ll lead by example how to set and exceed personal and company goals while emphasizing the importance of delivering amazing customer service to store employees and merchants every day.
- Giving the company a competitive advantage by using best practices for all aspects of inventory management and identifying issues, resolutions and future opportunities.
- Working with the store manager to initiate a solid business plan that ensures the store meets service and sales goals.
- Partnering with and leading department managers, merchandisers and other teams to maintain accurate inventory, as well as effectively lead change.
- Supporting the success of the store by driving efficiencies and continuous improvement within your department while keeping productivity up and costs down.
- Managing our product from the truck, through processing and to the floor where it’s ready for customers.
