As an Assistant Account Manager, Vendor (NRD) - you will support the identification, development & origination of new financing partnerships with manufacturers and their distribution partners. You will support the full sales cycle, and work closely with our senior team to deliver sustainable volume and margin growth for the Vendor platform. NRD sits at the core of GE Capital’s growth imperative, and this role will be central to its success.
We seek a highly motivated, and eager-to-learn candidate.


  • Assist in prospect identification and market research across a universe of major equipment manufacturers, dealers, distributors, etc.

  • Support the entire sales process from prospect through to sign; including preparation of internal and external presentations and approval documents

  • Liaise and develop strong working relationships with Risk, Legal and Operations colleagues to facilitate smooth program approvals and launches

  • Oversee opportunity/pipeline management

  • Co-develop strategic account plans to optimize calling efforts.
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Management or a related field

  • Coursework in finance and/or accounting

  • Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint skills

  • Strong time/project management skills

  • Execution-focused mindset with ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

  • Up to two (2)+ years’ experience in banking, business development or financial services

  • Experience/interest in construction, transportation or heavy equipment manufacturing sectors
