You are a subject matter expert in Natural Gas.
You will use this knowledge to help solve the industry’s most
important Energy challenges. You will leverage GE’s Global expertise,
industrial breadth and technology to address Energy challenges across
the Energy sector by creating executable solutions for stakeholders.
Lead Voice of the Customer (VoC) initiatives to collect and analyze
data and drive innovative thinking to translate into marketable
solutions through collaboration with stakeholders.
Serve as the key technical advisor for the Team, and act
as the primary engineering contact to interface between the
customer/market needs and the organization
Lead problem solving sessions with multiple stakeholders
through use of engineering design documents (P&ID, Single Line
diagrams, PFD, plot plans, General arrangement diagrams) to facilitate
collaborative dialogue.
Co-ordinate and support internal and external group discussions and thought leadership events to facilitate solution creation.
Technically articulate innovations and present solutions to customers
Serve as the key interface between the customer/market
needs and the organization to proactively promote and position
technology against competitive systems.
Drive emerging market growth strategy
BS in Chemical, Mechanical or Systems Engineering preferred
Minimum ten years of combined process engineering and commercial operations experience
Minimum five years of experience within the Energy sector
in domain specializations such as power generation, oil sands
development/drilling operations, or water specialization.
Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Proven expertise presenting to mid to executive level customers and groups
Demonstrated ability to effectively drive strategic plans
Ability to interact at all levels of the organization and with other GE businesses and customers
Natural Gas Specialization
Compressor packaging / regionalization (ability to architect a system at high level and then manage subcontractor to complete)
Sensing and control system in a gas environment and ability to architect control systems including valves etc
Pump technology expertise (Rod, ESP, Gas lift)
General working knowledge of LNG and CNG solutions
