The Warehouse/Inventory Supervisor will demonstrate accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives as they relate to inventory, shipping and receiving and the warehouse. In this role, you will develop and integrate processes that meet business needs across the organization, by managing complex issues that impact inventory.
1.Ensures inventory and annual business goals are met while driving the result of zero customer disappointments
2. Oversees all Warehouse/ Shipping /Receiving and Inventory Operations for Pressure Control Canada.
3. Prioritizes warehouse operations and streamlines processes and procedures to best support requirements for the central supply chain.
4. Leads physical inventory count, analyzes and rationalizes inventory related reports and confirms data accuracy.
5. Resolves sales orders and product move orders in relation to inventory issues/problems.
6. Liaises with sales/planning and other key stakeholders in the order cycle to regulate inventory levels.
7. Selects and hires warehouse staff, sets team goals and objectives and provides work direction. Provides training for new warehouse teammates.
8. Responsible for championing and meeting all the EHS, Quality and regulatory requirements as determined by GE operating procedures and legislative standards.
9. Maintains and controls Export documentation requirements as defined by GE and regulatory requirements.
10. Assists Purchasing in the logistical requirements for incoming materials
11. Perform other related duties as assigned by Management
• Post - Secondary Education from an accredited university/college or High School diploma / GED with at least a minimum of 1 year work experience
* Minimum 3+ years hands on experience in Manufacturing and sourcing disciplines.
* Demonstrated Team Building and facilitation skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Self-starter.
* Sense of urgency.
• Experience with MRP systems
• Experience with Syteline
• Proven management or leadership skills
• Strong business and analytical ability
• Knowledge of the manufacturing process
• Familiarity with production control systems and routines
• Ability to effectively manage changing and conflicting priorities and resolve appropriately
• Ability to effectively operate in any organizational structure
