Works across all district departments including IT, which requires solid technical knowledge and exceptional communication skills.

Key Qualifications

  • Must have a solution-based approach to solving customer requirements
  • Must understand complex sales cycles, build consensus throughout multiple levels of organizations, and be adept at developing relationships at executive levels.
  • The K-12 Account Executive must work effectively with systems engineers and inside sales to attain revenue goals.
  • The ability to prospect and manage territory, as well as develop new business in competitive situations, is essential.
  • A solid understanding of Apple's hardware and software solutions is a must.

Description

The Apple K-12 Account Executive is responsible for increasing revenues and expanding opportunities in the K-12 market. The ideal candidate will possess a quantifiable record of success in sales to K-12 institutions, with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales goals. In addition, the Apple K-12 Account Executive will be required to: Articulate and present Apple’s education leadership message The Account Executive works across all district departments including IT, requiring solid technical knowledge and exceptional communication skills. Is able to demonstrate the value of technology to educators. Develops and implements action plans to achieve or exceed revenue targets and product mix goals through systematic sales calls on current and potential customers. Frequently creates innovative and effective ways to deal with primary and secondary business issues while promoting and selling the complete Apple product line as applicable. Identifies, accesses and effectively uses internal and external resources. Develops account plans to meet the goals of Apple and the customer and expand sales into other parts of an organization in a long term relationship with the customer. Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts

Education

BS/BA degree required and a minimum of 5 years of sales experience in technology based products.

Additional Requirements

Must possess excellent skill-sets in the following areas: time/territory management, prospecting, problem solving and verbal/written communication Background in the education market would be highly desirable. Apple Canada Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
