Key Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years experience implementing large-scale production systems with deep Java expertise.
- Relational databases and SQL
- OO design and implementation
- High-volume deployment infrastructure
Description
Seeking
a senior, backend Java engineer with experience in large scale system
implementation Must be able to design and drive large projects from
inception to production implementation and beyond. Must be a great
communicator, team player, and a technical powerhouse.
Solve problems unique in scale and concept in the pursuit of new and
original features specifically in the realm of Fraud detection and
prevention.
Education
BS in Computer Science.
Additional Requirements
- Previous e-commerce experience and integration with 3rd party systems
- Cassandra, Voldemort and/or other non-relational data storage knowledge
- Hadoop and/or other big data knowledge
- Experience with additional programming languages such as Clojure, Scala, etc
- Experience with developing proper test cases and tools in preparing for large scale deployments
- Fraud-detection and prevention systems, methodologies, technologies.
- Expedrience in statistical modeling and analysis applied to very large data sets
