As a SharePoint Consultant you will lead and contribute to the design and delivery of end-to-end solutions based on Web/Rich User Interface technologies, including SOA and ESB for multiple clients, participating in the design, development, testing and deployment process. The successful candidate will design applications using Microsoft SharePoint products and technologies. These applications may run on multiple platforms and may be composed of multiple software packages. This role is responsible for performance, availability and scalability of the SharePoint applications, and maintains the functional interface to the application infrastructure. Experience in implementing multiple SharePoint forms in a distributed application architecture is an asset. Understanding of competitive technology enables the architect to properly assess feasibility of migrating customer solutions from, and/or integrating with existing customer solutions hosted on Microsoft or non-Microsoft platforms. The ideal candidate has a track record of technical excellence with the proven ability to map customer business problems to end-to-end technology solutions. Specific tasks include working with IBM clients to: • Effectively translate business requirements (e.g. business case, requirement specifications, non-functional requirement specifications & use case models) into technical solutions • Develop solution architecture and work with client IT & business teams to build consensus • Create Macro & Micro designs working with IBM and client development teams • Develop SharePoint application framework and establish foundation and standards for code development • Lead development team members to develop, test and deploy application components • Lead proposal and RFP/RFI response development • Develop sizing estimates and project plan • Lead and manage design and delivery engagements at client locations • Support and mentor other technical team members | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
