Position Description

Morgan Stanley's Investment Banking Division utilizes both traditional and innovative financing techniques to help corporations and governments around the world make and execute decisions regarding their capital. They work on a mix of assignments ranging from transaction execution to business development initiatives. Vice Presidents have the opportunity to work directly with senior-level financial and strategic decision-makers of some of the world's largest corporations, as well as with smaller, emerging growth clients.

Skills Required

-Graduate from a top MBA school or equivalent work experience
-Superior valuation skills
-Ability to learn quickly, with a particular focus on accounting rules and financial valuation methodologies
-Extraordinarily high level of motivation and commitment to working hard
-Extraordinarily high level of focus on work quality and attention to detail
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Commercial instinct and ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines
-Interest in developing a career in Calgary
