Description

As a Hardware Engineer you will be responsible for becoming intimate with the electrical designs of our award winning product line. You will be responsible for assisting in design efforts and taking products from NPI into a state where manufacturing at volume leads to high yield and outstanding quality.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical leadership for new product development
  • Redesigning products to meet new feature requirements and component substitutions
  • Analyzing existing designed for manufacturing improvements
  • Working with MFG to determine product transition strategies
  • Run production NPI product qualification, test and product builds
  • Develop and execute product qualification test plans
  • Responsible to report and communicate quality performance of the production line, initiate/drive for root cause analysis and closed loop corrective actions. Meets deadlines.
  • Identify and champion process/product improvements that ultimately lead to increased profitability within Manufacturing Business Unit High initiative, self-starter is a must.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, preferably in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
  • Understanding of fundamental circuit concepts, ability to debug circuit boards.
  • Knowledge in mechanical concepts, ability to identify design, manufacturing and assembly issues
  • Demonstrates a proficiency in the use of common engineering test equipment, and the ability to learn more complex test tools and systems.
  • Technical problem solving.
  • Demonstrated teamwork skills/leadership capabilities.
  • Must be an excellent problem solver.
  • Highly motivated team player with excellent communication skills, Initiative, superior problem solving skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks
