Our Application Innovation Services practice is a global leader in providing clients with multiple application development and system integration related services and support capabilities. As a Java Application Developer, you are a key contributor to the implementation of highly secure and reliable solutions for multiple clients with responsibility for the development, testing and deployment of applications which may run on multiple platforms and may be composed of multiple software packages. Responsibilities include: • Code, test and document software components • Participate in technical reviews and code walkthroughs Qualifications: Past work experience should include assignments that span the entire application development lifecycle including: defining requirements, prototyping, software and/or user interface design, database design and/or testing, implementation and technical documentation. A university degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related IT discipline. Extensive travel across Canada may be required.

Required High School Diploma/GED At least 1 year experience in Java application development and testing At least 1 year experience in Java Integrated Development Environments (IDE) and understanding of Java continuous integration tools such as Jenkins At least 6 months experience in EJB, JSP, JDBC, JNI, XML, XSLT, HTML, jQuery, Dojo, CSS, JavaScript At least 6 months experience in Object-oriented and Unified Modeling Language (UML) At least 6 months experience in SQL and relational databases such IBM DB2 and Oracle At least 6 months experience in Java application servers such as IBM WebSphere, Oracle Fusion, JBoss Basic knowledge in various development methodologies, including Agile, Scrum At least 1 year experience in Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including sound leadership abilities English: Fluent
